During Lenten Worship services on February 28th and March 21st, Adam Mendoza will be our resident guest artist as he creates an oil painting inspired by our scriptures for the day. On March 7th and 14th we will welcome Pete Blahak, known as 'Mr. B' at Mountain Vista High School, who will bring his potter's wheel and creating during the scripture time. Each Sunday at prayer time we will have the prophet Jeremiah call us to go down to the potter's house to discover how God can reshape us like a potter reshapes the clay. We will leave our prayers written on shards of pottery, affixed to the cross.

 

During Holy Week we celebrate on Palm Sunday, March 28th, as we carry out palm branches and process into our worship space. This will be followed, later in the week, by our Good Friday service when Andrea TenBarge will grace us with her flute and our choir will sing.

On Easter we will continue our traditional events, starting with Sunrise service featuring guest musicians who will join our own Kelly and Scott Pearson. Community Breakfast will follow with an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. We will complete the morning with a 9:00 worship service.
