Chalice Christian is committed to nurturing the continuing development of spirituality through education, based on teachings of the Bible. We strive to provide an environment where all in our congregation can explore their faith, ask questions, and grow.
On Sunday mornings, we provide a loving nursery for all babies and toddlers. The nursery is open the entire morning.
Children in preschool through high school meet in their respective Sunday School classes each morning during the Sunday school hour (9:30-10:30a.m.) for an hour of learning, exploring and fun.
During our Worship service, children (3 years through 3rd grade) are released to our Children's Worship and Wonder program. During this time, children have their own worship where they experience the stories of the Bible through a unique story telling technique and hands-on activities. Children's Worship and Wonder mimics the adult worship, but on the children's level.
The Junior High and High School students meet at a local coffee shop during the Sunday School hour. We meet at the church by 9:20 and travel together to the coffee shop. Join us!
The youth group has an active Christian Youth Fellowship (high school) and Chi Rho (junior high) groups. These groups meet regularly for fun and outreach ministry activities. The groups took to the streets of the neighborhood near the church for Super/Souper Bowl Sunday to collect food for local food banks.

The groups also helps the Humane Borders organization by checking three water stations used by Mexican migrants to see if they needed filling and to check the chlorine level in the water. The youth learned about the plight of the Mexican migrants, the economic situations that drive them to cross into the United States, and what can be done to help save their lives. View our slideshow documenting our last two trips!
After pledging money to Chalice Christian's capital campaign for the new building, the youth group has held fund raisers, such as bake sales, to meet its obligation.
Many of our young people participate in Regional youth programs including summer camp and overnight retreats in the spring and the fall.
